Fuvahmulah

Fuvahmulah Island, a diving paradise at the southern tip of the Maldives, is known as Shark Island. This UNESCO Biosphere Reserve rises directly from the deep sea, becoming a gathering place for large pelagic creatures such as tiger sharks, hammerhead sharks, and thresher sharks. At the famous Tiger Harbour, divers can safely observe tiger sharks at close range in shallow waters. The dry season, from December to April, offers the best visibility and is the prime time to explore this underwater Shark Kingdom. Its unique ecosystem, especially the aggregation of adult female whale sharks, makes it an irreplaceable adventure destination for diving enthusiasts worldwide.
